S&P lifts Hidalgo County, Texas, debt to AA-

Standard & Poor's said it raised the underlying rating to AA- from A+ on Hidalgo County Drainage District No. 1, Texas' general obligation debt.

At the same time, S&P said it assigned an AA- standard long-term rating to the district's $72 million of series 2008 unlimited-tax G.O. improvement bonds.

The outlook is stable.
