hhgregg again reports zero operating income, net sales for December

Pittsburgh, Jan. 8 – hhgregg, Inc. reported zero operating income, net sales and net income for December, the same as in November, according to its monthly operating report filed Jan. 8 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Southern District of Indiana.

In addition, the company had no cash in December or November.

The Gregg Appliances Inc. debtor saw a $953,000 operating loss and $2.13 million net loss for December on zero net sales.

In comparison, Gregg Appliances reported an $826,000 operating loss and $666,000 net loss for November, also on zero net sales.

Gregg Appliances listed $8.64 million in cash as of Dec. 31, down slightly from $8.68 million at the end of November.

Meanwhile, the HHG Distributing LLC debtor also showed no operating income, net income, sales or cash for December or November.

hhgregg is an Indianapolis-based specialty retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 6, 2017 under Chapter 11 case number 17-01302.
