Three hhgregg debtors post operating results for month ended March 31

Pittsburgh, April 30 – hhgregg, Inc. reported zero operating income, net sales and net income for March, the same as in February, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

In addition, the company had no cash in March or February.

The Gregg Appliances Inc. debtor saw a $432,000 operating loss for March on zero net sales. The operating loss for February was $89,000, also on zero net sales.

Gregg Appliances posted a $431,000 net loss for March, declining from $7,000 of February net income.

Also, Gregg Appliances listed $4.9 million in cash as of March 31, down slightly from $5.05 million at the end of February.

Meanwhile, the HHG Distributing LLC debtor also showed no operating income, net income, sales or cash for March or February.

hhgregg is an Indianapolis-based specialty retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 6, 2017 under Chapter 11 case number 17-01302.
