Heritage Home Group secures bankruptcy court approval of asset sales

Pittsburgh, Oct. 23 – Heritage Home Group LLC received court approval to sell its assets, according to an order filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

As previously reported, HHG IPCo., LLC was the winning bidder for the intellectual property and other assets related to Heritage Home’s business of designing, manufacturing, sourcing, licensing and selling home furnishings under the Broyhill, Thomasville, Drexel, Drexel Heritage and Henredon brands, with a $38.5 million final offer.

Hamilton Square LLC was the high bidder for Heritage Home’s Lenoir Upholstery campus-owned real property, merchandise and equipment at the campus and rolling stock, with a $4.75 million bid, and Big Shoulders Capital IV, LLC submitted a $375,000 winning bid for other non-intellectual property assets.

High Point, N.C.-based Heritage Home Group is a home furnishings manufacturer and retailer. The company filed bankruptcy on July 29 under Chapter 11 case number 18-11736.
