Hercules Offshore operating loss widens to $16.09 million in September

Pittsburgh, Oct. 24 – Hercules Offshore, Inc. reported a $16.09 million operating loss for September on $789,242 in total revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Those figures showed a decline from the $4.85 million operating loss posted for August on $2.74 million in total revenue.

The net loss for September was $18.41 million, narrowing from a $71.3 million August net loss.

The company had $136.61 million in cash as of Sept. 30, down from $145.41 million at the end of August.

Hercules, a Houston-based provider of offshore drilling equipment and services, filed bankruptcy on June 6. The Chapter 11 case number is 16-11385.
