Hercules Offshore sees operating loss narrow to $2.64 million in July

Pittsburgh, Aug. 23 – Hercules Offshore, Inc. reported a $2.64 million operating loss for July on $4.81 million in total revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Those figures showed improvement over the $4.78 million operating loss posted for the period of June 5 to June 30 on $4.61 million in total revenue.

The net loss for July was $4.88 million, narrowing significantly from a $129.52 million net loss for the June period.

The company had $152.44 million in cash as of July 31, down from $160.71 million at the end of June.

Hercules, a Houston-based provider of offshore drilling equipment and services, filed bankruptcy on June 6. The Chapter 11 case number is 16-11385.
