New York, Dec. 17 - Hennepin County of Minnesota priced $102.81 million of series 2010E sales tax general obligation bonds on Monday, according to a pricing sheet.
The bonds (Aaa//AAA) were sold competitively.
The bonds are due 2012 to 2030 with 4% to 5% coupons.
Proceeds will be used to fund a loan to the Counties Transit Improvement Board, a joint powers board of the state, which will pledge its portion of sales tax revenues for the repayment of the bonds. The board will loan the money to make capital grants for transit projects in the five member counties, including Hennepin.
