Hemosol defaults on credit facility after failing to pay interest

New York, Nov. 22 - Hemosol Corp. said it has defaulted on its $20 million credit facility after failing to pay interest.

The Toronto-based biopharmaceutical company has previously said that it is discussing its financial difficulties with its secured creditors and has also disclosed that it needs additional capital to continue as a going concern.
