AMC Entertainment to redeem all outstanding 8% senior notes due 2014

Minneapolis, Sept. 4 - AMC Entertainment Inc. sent notice of its plans to redeem all of its outstanding 8% senior subordinated notes due 2014, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Oct. 4.

On Aug. 30, the company irrevocably deposited $141,026,667.60 to satisfy and discharge its obligations under the notes and the indenture plus an additional $5.6 million to pay accrued interest on the notes to Sept. 1.

HSBC Bank USA, NA is the trustee.

AMC is a Kansas City, Mo.-based movie exhibitor.
