New Issue: AMC Entertainment upsizes 10-year notes to $175 million, yields 10 1/8%

St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 11 - AMC Entertainment Inc. increased its offering of 10-year senior subordinated notes to $175 million from an announced size of $150 million and priced the deal at 98.436 to yield 10 1/8%.
Price talk had been announced as the 10% area.
Salomon Smith Barney was sole bookrunner of the Rule 144A offering. Co-managers were Banc of America Securities, Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, Lehman Brothers, Scotia Capital and UBS Warburg.
A syndicate official declined to comment on the execution of the deal.
