AMC Entertainment $150 million 10-year notes talked in 10% area

St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 10 - Price talk of a yield in the 10% area surfaced Thursday for AMC Entertainment Inc.'s offering of $150 million 10-year senior subordinated notes, according to a syndicate source.

Pricing is expected Friday, the source added.

Salomon Smith Barney is bookrunner for the Rule 144A offering. Banc of America Securities, Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, Lehman Brothers, Scotia Capital and UBS Warburg are co-managers.

The notes, which are non-callable for five years, are rated Caa3 by Moody's Investors Service and CCC by Standard & Poor's.
