By Paul A. Harris

Portland, Ore., Sept. 11 – HealthSouth Corp. expects to price a $300 million offering of 10-year senior notes (B1/B+) on Friday trailing a late-morning conference call with investors, according to a syndicate source.

Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc., Barclays, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, RBC Capital Markets and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc. are the joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A with registration rights offering.

The notes come with five years of call protection.

The Birmingham, Ala.-based provider of post-acute health care services plans to use the proceeds to pay a portion of the approximately $740 million owed on the Reliant Hospital Partners, LLC acquisition.
