East Peak sells 411,200 shares of HealthSouth

Charlotte, N.C., June 10 - East Peak Partners, LP sold 411,200 shares of HealthSouth Corp. for a total of $15.64 million between April 18 and June 5.

The transactions were reported in a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

East Peak owns approximately 3.9 million shares, or 4.93%, of the Birmingham, Ala., provider of ambulatory surgery and rehabilitative health-care services.

On May 23, HealthSouth announced that it will continue to focus on debt repayment with high-cost bond debt being its priority.

It was previously reported that HealthSouth said its cash flow from operations will be its primary source for paying down debt.
