Moody's rates Mountain State Health bonds Aaa/VMIG 1
Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aaa/VMIG 1 rating to the Health and Educational Facilities Board of the City of Johnson City, Tenn.'s $72.77 million of hospital revenue bonds (Mountain States Health Alliance) series 2008A.
Separately, Moody's said it assigned the same rating to the Industrial Development Authority of Russell County's $54.23 million of hospital revenue bonds (Mountain States Health Alliance), series 2008B.
The ratings are based on letters of credit provided by Regions Bank, which is rated Aa3 for its long-term bank deposits and Prime-1 for its short-term bank deposits.
