HCA files automatic shelf registration covering debt securities

Knoxville, Tenn., July 26 - HCA Inc. and HCA Holdings, Inc. jointly filed a debt securities automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The debt may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

HCA is a Nashville-based hospital and health care services company.
