Haven Healthcare U.S. Trustee asks court to dismiss Chapter 11 case

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, July 16 - Haven Healthcare Management, LLC's U.S. Trustee has asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut to dismiss the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case, according to a Tuesday filing.

According to the motion, Haven's case is administratively insolvent, and there will be nothing to reorganize.

In addition, the U.S. Trustee said there is no evidence that enough money will be generated to pay existing or future Chapter 11 administrative costs.

Haven, a Middletown, Conn.-based nursing home operator, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 20, 2007. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-32722.
