Metro District of Hartford, Conn., organizes $187.45 million BANs deal

New York, May 16 - The Metropolitan District of Hartford, Conn., plans to sell $187,446,000 of series 2013 general obligation bond anticipation notes for Tuesday, according to a preliminary official statement

The offering includes $87,446,000 of series 2013A notes and $100 million of series 2013B notes.

The notes (Aa1/AA+/) will be sold competitively with First Southwest Co. as the financial adviser.

The 2013A notes are due March 25, 2014, and the 2013B notes are due March 25, 2014.

Proceeds will be used to finance water, sewer and public improvement projects, as well as to finance clean water projects.
