New Issue: Metro District of Hartford County, Conn., sells $278.22 million BANs

New York, March 12 - The Metropolitan District of Hartford County, Conn., sold $278,221,000 of series 2014 general obligation bond anticipation notes, according to a pricing sheet.

The notes were sold competitively.

The offering included $52,762,000 of series 2014A notes, $100 million of series 2014B notes, $90,459,000 of series 2014C notes and $35 million of series 2014D notes.

The 2014A notes are due Aug. 7, 2014 and have a 0.5% coupon priced at 100.166 to yield 0.05%.

The 2014B notes are due Dec. 5, 2014 and have a 1% coupon priced at par to yield 0.09%.

The 2014C notes are due March 23, 2015 and have a 1% coupon priced at par to yield 0.11%.

The 2014D notes are due March 23, 2015 and have a 1% coupon priced at 100.896 to yield 0.1%.

Proceeds will be used to finance sewer, water and capital improvements within the district.
