Metro District of Hartford County, Conn., plans $278.22 million notes

New York, March 3 - The Metropolitan District of Hartford County, Conn., is scheduled to price $278,221,000 of series 2014 general obligation bond anticipation notes on March 12, according to a preliminary official statement.

The deal includes $52,762,000 of series 2014A notes, $100 million of series 2014B notes, $90,459,000 of series 2014C notes and $35 million of series 2014D notes.

The notes will be sold competitively with First Southwest Co. as the financial adviser.

The 2014A notes are due Aug. 7, 2014, and the 2014B notes are due Dec. 5, 2014. The 2014C notes and the 2014D notes are due March 23, 2015.

Proceeds will be used to finance sewer, water and various capital improvements within the district.
