New York, Nov. 28 - The Metropolitan District of Hartford County, Conn., sold $246.69 million of series 2012 general obligation bond anticipation notes, according to a term sheet.
The bonds (Aa1/AA+/) were sold competitively. A spokesperson for the district did not immediately return calls for the winning bidder Wednesday.
The deal included $58,925,000 of series 2012A notes and $187,762,000 of series 2012B notes.
The 2012A notes are due Feb. 14, 2013 with a 2.5% coupon priced at 100.443.
The 2012B notes are due Dec. 6, 2013 with a 1.75% coupon priced at 100.834.
Proceeds will be used to finance sewer, water and public improvement projects for the city and county of Hartford.
