Harry & David boosts IT and accounting capabilities with two key hires

San Diego, May 24 - Harry & David Holdings, Inc. announced it has made two key appointments, naming Charles Hunsinger to the position of senior vice president and chief information officer and David Rogalski to the position of vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer. Both will be based in the company's Medford, Ore., corporate headquarters.

Hunsinger brings more than 20 years of experience in large-scale systems consulting and corporate information technology leadership to the company and will be responsible for all IT applications and infrastructure across Harry & David's operations. He previously served as executive vice president of information technology for Musician's Friend, an internet retailer, and as chief information officer of Corporate Express US, Inc. Hunsinger earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Rogalski brings over 20 years of experience in finance and strategic management to Harry & David, where he will oversee the company's accounting and reporting functions going forward. He joins the company from ecoFridge, where he served as chief financial officer. Prior to that, he was vice president of finance and corporate controller for Cornerstone Brands, Inc. and corporate controller for Norwood Promotional Products, Inc. Rogalski earned a bachelor's degree from DePaul University and is a certified public accountant.

"This announcement is a significant step in building on our IT and accounting capabilities."

Harry & David is a specialty retailer and producer of branded premium gift-quality fruit and gourmet food products.
