Harris County, Texas, readies $100 million tax anticipation note sale

New York, Aug. 18 – Harris County, Texas, is scheduled to price $100 million of series 2015 tax anticipation notes on Aug. 25, according to a preliminary official statement.

The notes (MIG1//F1+) will be sold competitively with First Southwest Co. as the financial adviser.

The notes are due Feb. 29, 2016.

Proceeds will be used to finance capital expenditures ahead of the collection of ad valorem taxes.
