Harris County, Texas, prepares $225 million tax anticipation note deal

New York, July 10 – Harris County, Texas, is expected to price $225 million of series 2014 tax anticipation notes, according to a preliminary official statement. Pricing is scheduled for July 21.

The notes (/SP-1+/F1+) will be sold competitively with First Southwest Co. as the financial adviser.

The notes are due Feb. 27, 2015.

Proceeds will be used to finance general cash flow needs for the 2015 fiscal year ahead of the collection of ad valorem taxes.
