New York, Sept. 2 - Harris County, Texas, sold $122.565 million of series 2011A unlimited tax road refunding bonds, according to an official statement.
The bonds (AAA/AAA) were sold on a negotiated basis with Piper Jaffray & Co. and Siebert Brandford Shank & Co. LLC. The co-managers were Morgan Keegan & Co. Inc. and RBC Capital Markets LLC.
The bonds are due 2012 to 2031. The coupons range from 1.5% to 5.25%, and yields range from 0.3% to 3.94%.
Proceeds will be used to refund the county's series 2001 unlimited tax road refunding bonds and a portion of the county's series C commercial paper notes.
