Amazon.com intends to sell fixed-rate notes in six tranches

Knoxville, Tenn., June 1 – Amazon.com, Inc. intends to sell fixed-rate senior notes (A2/AA-) in six tranches, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will have make-whole calls and then par calls.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Amazon.com is an online commerce company based in Seattle.
