Amazon Biotech appoints new financial, business adviser

Tampa, Fla., Aug. 16 - Amazon Biotech, Inc. said Wednesday that it has signed a letter of agreement with Rohit Phansalkar to serve as business and financial adviser to help improve the structure and capital position of the company.

Phansalkar previously worked at Oppenheimer & Co., Shearson American Express and Bear Stearns & Co.

Phansalkar has also served as the chairman and chief executive officer of Osicom Technologies, chairman of The India Fund, vice chairman and chief executive officer of Newbridge (India) and as a director of several companies.

New York-based Amazon Biotech is a natural plant pharmaceutical company.
