Happy Kids exclusive period extended
New York, Sept. 29 - Happy Kids Inc.'s exclusive period to file a plan of reorganization was extended to Oct. 6, according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
It was previously set to end on Sept. 28.
Happy Kids is a New York-based designer and marketer of children's apparel. It filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 4, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-10016.
