Hancock Fabrics sees $277,000 net loss for Jan. 29 through Feb. 25

Pittsburgh, March 14 – Hancock Fabrics, Inc. reported a $277,000 net loss for the period of Jan. 29 through Feb. 25 on zero revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In comparison, Hancock posted a $1.17 million net loss for the period of Jan. 1 through Jan. 28, also on zero revenue.

Hancock had $6.74 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Feb. 25, down from $7.01 million at Jan. 28.

Based in Baldwyn, Miss., Hancock is a specialty retailer of fabric and related home sewing and decorative accessories. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 2, 2016 under Chapter 11 case number 16-10296.
