Hancock Fabrics calls outstanding $5.14 million of series A floaters

Kansas City, Kan., Jan. 3 - Hancock Fabrics, Inc. plans to redeem the remaining $5,141,362.57 of its 2008 floating-rate series A secured notes due 2013, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The redemption date is Jan. 31 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

Hancock Fabrics is a Baldwyn, Miss.-based specialty retailer of fabric and related home sewing and decorating accessories.
