Hana Biosciences files $100 million stock shelf

Chicago, Oct. 20 - Hana Biosciences, Inc. filed a $100 million shelf registration of common stock in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The filing includes $34,999,838 of previously registered but unsold securities.

Proceeds will be used for clinical trials; research and development; sales and marketing; and general and administrative expenses.

Hana is a South San Francisco, Calif.-based biopharmaceutical company focused on cancer care.
