Hawthorns Golf creditor asks court to name Douglas Wilson plan agent

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Aug. 14 – Hamilton Proper Partners Golf Partnership, LP creditor HGCC Lender, LLC asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana to appoint Douglas Wilson Cos. as the agent for the plan of reorganization it filed for the Hamilton Proper Chapter 11 case, according to a Thursday court filing.

Hamilton Proper does business as Hawthorns Golf & Country Club.

As plan agent, Douglas Wilson would represent the company and its estate to execute and deliver an asset purchase agreement, sale documents and plan documents and take other actions provided in the plan.

HGCC also requested court approval to hire Douglas Wilson to develop a marketing plan and facilitate an asset sale process ahead of plan confirmation.

Hamilton Proper, the Indianapolis-based owner of private membership golf club Hawthorns, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 24, 2014. The Chapter 11 case number is 14-00461.
