Fitch rates Hamilton County, Tenn., bonds AA+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an AA+ rating to Hamilton County, Tenn.'s approximately $97 million of general obligation bonds, series 2008, and approximately $37.6 million of G.O. refunding bonds, series 2008B.

Both series are expected to sell competitively on March 25.

Fitch also said it affirmed the AA+ rating on the county's approximately $107.7 million of outstanding G.O. bonds.

The outlook is stable.
