Amarin files $100 million shelf

Des Moines, July 12 - Amarin Corp. plc and Amarin Finance Ltd. filed a $100 million shelf registration in an F-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shelf covers ordinary shares, preference shares, purchase contracts, warrants, units, senior debt securities and subordinated debt securities for Amarin Corp. and senior debt securities and subordinated debt securities for Amarin Finance. Securities may be structured as convertibles.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Based in London, Amarin focuses on the research, development and commercialization of novel drugs for the treatment of central nervous system disorders. Amarin Finance is a subsidiary of Amarin.
