Hallador Petroleum investor ups stake with purchase of 750,000 shares

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 24 - Lubar Equity Fund, LLC bought 750,000 shares of Hallador Petroleum Co. on Sept. 15 from the company in a private placement, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.

The investor beneficially owns 2,788,685 shares or 10.5% of Denver oil and natural gas exploration company's outstanding stock.
