AMAG Pharmaceuticals files automatic shelf to sell debt, stock

Chicago, Jan. 19 - AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Inc. registered to sell an unspecified amount of securities in an S-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Covered by the automatic shelf filing are common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and warrants. Securities may be issued as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

AMAG is a biopharmaceutical company based in Cambridge, Mass.
