Moody's rates Alvord, Calif., school bonds A2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A2 rating to Alvord Unified School District, Calif.'s $60 million of election of 2007 general obligation bonds, series 2008A.

At the same time, Moody's said it affirmed the A2 rating on the district's outstanding $45.2 million of G.O. debt.

Sale of the bonds is expected on April 21.
