New Issue: GS Finance sells $869,000 autocallable contingent coupon notes on indexes

By Kiku Steinfeld

Chicago, June 12 – GS Finance Corp. priced $869,000 autocallable contingent coupon notes due May 31, 2024 linked to the Nasdaq-100 index, the S&P 500 index, and the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The notes will pay a quarterly contingent coupon at an annual rate of 6.15% if each index closes at or above its 70% coupon trigger level on the observation date for that quarter.

The notes will be called at par plus the contingent coupon if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly observation date.

If the least performing index finishes above 60% of its initial level, the payout will be par plus any coupon due if all three indexes close above the coupon trigger level.

If the least performing index declines more than 40%, investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the least performing index.
