Altra starts roadshow for $200 million seven-year secured notes

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Nov. 12 - Altra Holdings, Inc. began a roadshow on Thursday for its $200 million offering of seven-year senior secured notes (expected ratings B1/B+), according to an informed source.

A global investor call is set for 11 a.m. ET on Friday.

The roadshow wraps up on Tuesday.

Jefferies & Co. Bank of America Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. are joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S with registration rights notes. KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. and Stephens Inc. are co-managers.

The notes come with three years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to repurchase or redeem Altra's 9% notes and to repay the revolving credit facility of TB Wood, which Altra acquired in the spring of 2007.

Altra is a Quincy, Mass.-based manufacturer of mechanical power transmission and motion control products.
