By Marisa Wong

Morgantown, W.Va., May 10 – Griffon Corp. has withdrawn its cash tender offer for up to $500 million of its 5¼% senior notes due 2022 that began on Thursday.

The tender offer was conditioned on Griffon pricing new senior notes, but the company has withdrawn its proposed offering of up to $500 million of senior notes due 2027, according to a news release.

Griffon is a New York-based diversified management and holding company with operations in the home and building products and defense electronics segments.
