Portland, Ore., March 7 - Griffon Corp. will begin a roadshow on Tuesday for a $500 million offering of seven-year senior notes, according to an informed source.

The Rule 144A with registration rights deal is expected to price early in the week ahead.

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. is the bookrunner.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Goldman Sachs & Co., HSBC and Wells Fargo Securities are the co-managers.

The notes come with three years of call protection.
