Industrial and Commercial Bank of China redeems RMB 45 billion bonds

Lexington, Ky., April 26 – Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd. reported it exercised its April 26 right to redeem its RMB 45 billion of 10-year tier 2 capital bonds at par in full.

The bank had the right to redeem the bonds in full at par on the last day of the fifth interest accrual year.

The bonds were originally issued in two tranches from April 24 to April 26, 2019.

The bank branch is based in Singapore.
