Barclays raises purchase prices on nine ETNs in tender offers

Chicago, March 20 – Barclays Bank plc raised the purchase prices on nine of the exchange-traded notes that are part of an ongoing tender offer, according to a press release.

The modified purchase prices reflect a premium to the closing indicative note value on March 20.

The 11:59 p.m. ET April 3 expiration time for each series is unchanged.

Increased prices

The following prices have been increased, for the:

• iPath CBOE S&P 500 BuyWrite Index ETN (Symbol: BWVTF; Cusip: 06739F135) with a closing indicative value of $103.26 and a purchase price of $107.00, raised from $106.00 and earlier updated from $99.00;

• iPath Bloomberg Livestock Subindex Total Return ETN (Symbol: COWTF; Cusip: 06739H743) with a closing indicative value of $20.30 and a purchase price of $21.50, raised from $21.00 and earlier updated from $18.00;

• iPath GBP/USD Exchange Rate ETN (Symbol: GBBEF; Cusip: 06739F176) with a closing indicative value of $35.12 and a purchase price of $37.00, raised from $36.00;

• iPath Global Carbon ETN (Symbol: GRNTF; Cusip: 06739H164) with a closing indicative value of $80.87 and a purchase price of $84.00, raised from $82.00 and updated from $99.00;

• iPath Bloomberg Agriculture Subindex Total Return ETN (Symbol: JJATF; Cusip: 06739H206) with a closing indicative value of $43.16 and a purchase price of $45.00, raised from $43.00 and earlier updated from $48.00;

• iPath Bloomberg Copper Subindex Total Return ETN (Symbol: JJCTF; Cusip: 06739F101) with a closing indicative value of $46.06 and a purchase price of $48.00, raised from $45.00 and earlier updated from $43.00;

• iPath Bloomberg Grains Subindex Total Return ETN (Symbol: JJGTF; Cusip: 06739H305) with a closing indicative value of $30.34 and a purchase price of $31.50, raised from $30.00 and earlier updated from $35.50;

• iPath Bloomberg Industrial Metals Subindex Total Return ETN (Symbol: JJMTF; Cusip: 06738G407) with a closing indicative value of $36.00, raised from $34.16 and a purchase price of $35.00 and earlier updated from $33.00; and

• iPath Bloomberg Precious Metals Subindex Total Return ETN (Symbol: JJPFF; Cusip: 06739H248) with a closing indicative value of $87.92 and a purchase price $91.00 raised from $90.00 and earlier updated from $86.00.

Extended offers

As previously reported, a total of 16 ETN tender offers were extended.

The other seven that are still currently part of the tender offer are the:

• iPath GEMS Asia 8 ETN (Symbol: AYTEF; Cusip: 06738G878) with a closing indicative value of $36.56 and a purchase price of $40.00;

• iPath GEMS Index ETN (Symbol: JEMTF; Cusip: 06739H453) with a closing indicative value of $16.49 and a purchase price of $19.00;

• iPath Bloomberg Energy Subindex Total Return ETN (Symbol: JJETF; Cusip: 06739H750) with a closing indicative value of $5.49 and a purchase price of $6.00 updated from $5.50;

• iPath Bloomberg Nickel Subindex Total Return ETN (Symbol: JJNTF; Cusip: 06739F119) with a closing indicative value of $21.34 and a purchase price of $22.50 updated from $20.00;

• iPath Bloomberg Softs Subindex Total Return ETN (Symbol: JJSSF; Cusip: 06739H230) with a closing indicative value of $47.62 and a purchase price of $50.00 updated from $46.00;

• iPath JPY/USD Exchange Rate ETN (Symbol: JYNFF; Cusip: 06739G851) with a closing indicative value of $35.48 and a purchase price of $38.00; and

• iPath Bloomberg Platinum Subindex Total Return ETN (Symbol: PGMFF; Cusip: 06739H255) with a closing indicative value of $17.91 and a purchase price of $19.00 updated from $18.00.

The purchase price will be paid on April 10.
