China’s NWS Holdings’ Celestial Miles to redeem 5¾% perpetuals on Jan. 31

Lexington, Ky., Dec. 21 – NWS Holdings Ltd. subsidiary Celestial Miles Ltd. will redeem its outstanding 5¾% guaranteed senior perpetual capital securities (ISIN: XS1940852145), according to a notice.

The securities will be redeemed in full at par together with accrued distributions on Jan. 31.

As of Dec. 21, the outstanding principal amount of the securities was $1,019,144,000.

After redemption, no securities will remain outstanding and the securities’ listing will be withdrawn from the Hong Kong Exchange.

The securities were originally issued in two tranches, $1 billion issued on Jan. 31, 2019 and $300 million issued on July 3, 2019, and consolidated to form one single series.

Hong Kong-based NWS Holdings operates businesses in infrastructure, facilities rental, construction-related contracting and public transport.
