By Mary-Katherine Stinson

Lexington, Ky., Dec. 7 – Golar LNG Ltd. resold $30.5 million notional value of its senior bonds maturing Oct. 20, 2025 (ISIN: NO0011123432) previously held in treasury, according to a notice.

Following the sale, $130.6 million notional value of unsecured bonds will remain in treasury.

Golar also reported totals from its share buyback program, under which the company was approved to repurchase up to $150 million. Since Sept. 30, the company has bought back a total of 1,126,682 shares, reducing the shares to 104,798,000.

This leaves $92.9 million more of the shares available for buybacks, which the company stated will be “opportunistically pursued.”

Hamilton, Bermuda-based Golar LNG is an owner and operator of liquid natural gas carriers.
