Brazil’s Cemig to redeem $375 million of 9¼% notes due 2024

Lexington, Ky., Nov. 21 – Cemig Geracao e Transmissao SA will redeem a $375 million portion of its outstanding 9¼% senior notes due Dec. 5, 2024 (Cusips: 12517MAA0, P2205LAC9), according to a notice.

The notes will be redeemed on Dec. 21 at par. Accrued interest from Dec. 5 to the redemption date will also be paid.

Cemig GT is the generation and transmission unit of the Minas Gerais State integrated power company in Brazil.
