Swiss Insured Brazil Power to redeem 9.85% notes on Oct. 16 at 91.212

Lexington, Ky., Sept. 29 – Swiss Insured Brazil Power Finance Sarl announced it will fully redeem its outstanding 9.85% senior secured notes due 2032 (ISINs: L8915MAA3, 870880AA9), following the success of the recent consent solicitation for the notes, according to a press release.

The notes will be redeemed on Oct. 16 at 91.212 plus accrued interest after giving effect to the scheduled principal amortization payments.

Accrued interest totals R$131,488,186.

The special record date for the redemption will be Oct. 13.

The redemption price and accrued interest are denominated in reais but will be settled in dollars as converted based on the PTAX Rate on Oct. 11.

Swiss Insured Brazil Power is a Luxemburg special purpose vehicle issuing debt for Celse, a Brazilian company engaging in power generation from natural gas thermal plants.
