China Everbright to redeem $300 million perpetuals on Oct. 27

Lexington, Ky., Sept. 22 – China Everbright Ltd. announced it will exercise the redemption right for its outstanding $300 million senior perpetual capital securities on Oct. 27, according to an announcement.

The securities will be fully redeemed at par with any accrued distribution, if any.

After redemption, the securities will be canceled and delisted.

The securities were listed on the Stock Exchange and Chongwa (Macao) Financial Asset Exchange Co., Ltd. on Oct. 28, 2020 and March 26, 2021.
