TD Bank will redeem C$1.75 billion 3.589% notes due 2028

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 11 – Toronto-Dominion Bank announced that it intends to exercise its right of early redemption for its C$1.75 billion of 3.589% medium-term notes with a Sept. 14, 2028 maturity.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the Sept. 14 redemption date, according to a news release.

The notes were originally issued as non-viability contingent capital.

The financial services and banking company is based in Toronto.
