By Mary-Katherine Stinson

Lexington, Ky., Aug. 11 – United Overseas Bank gave notice that it will redeem all HK$700 million of 3.19% subordinated notes due 2028 (ISIN: XS1480822516) on the first call date of Aug. 26, according to a notice.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to, but excluding, the redemption date of Aug. 26.

Payment will be made on the next business day, which is Aug. 29. No additional interest or other sum will be paid because of the postponed payment.

Following redemption, the notes will be canceled and delisted from the Singapore Exchange.

Bank of New York Mellon is the notes’ trustee.

The notes were originally issued on Aug. 26, 2016 under the bank’s $30 billion global medium-term note program.

The retail bank is based in Singapore.
