Bank of Montreal to redeem C$850 million 4.338% notes due 2028

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 8 – Bank of Montreal announced that it intends to redeem all of its C$850 million 4.338% subordinated notes (non-viability contingent capital) due Oct. 5, 2028 five years early, according to a press release on Tuesday.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Oct. 5.

The issuer is a Montreal-based bank.
